Persistent tension
Explore familiar areas of holding and restriction with a whole-body perspective.
Your body is more than the place that hurts. Stiffness that keeps returning. Movement that feels limited. A body that works hard but doesn't always feel comfortable. Rolfing Structural Integration offers a whole-body approach to those experiences through skilled touch and movement awareness.
I'm Scott Burd. I've practiced Rolfing since 2011, working with athletes, active people, and clients who simply want to feel more at home in their bodies.

Rolfing looks at how different parts of the body work together. Using hands-on structural integration and movement exploration, we address areas of tension while paying attention to posture, support, and the larger patterns involved in how you move.
Understand Rolfing →Explore familiar areas of holding and restriction with a whole-body perspective.
Notice how you stand, walk, train, and adapt to daily demands.
Build a more attentive relationship with effort, ease, and movement.

There is no standard routine that fits everyone. I look at how you stand and move, work directly with the body's connective tissue, and adjust the session based on what I find and what you feel.
The work can be specific and direct without asking you to push through pain.
How I work →As an ultrarunner and endurance cyclist, I know how repetitive effort can shape a body. I also know that everyday activities bring their own challenges.
Whether you train for long races or spend your days at a desk, I bring the same careful attention to your goals.
